- You should not float within a week of having gastroenteritis (diarrhoea)
- Do consult your medical practitioner prior to floating if you have asthma, epilepsy, hypotension, or a heart condition
- Those with severe and/or infectious skin conditions, sunburn or open wounds should not float.
- If you are pregnant and in your first trimester as a precaution we recommend that you do not float. If you are in your second trimester please see a medical practitioner prior to floating. Floating is safe and wonderful for pregnant women in their third trimester, especially those with back pain.
- If you have recently had chemotherapy, please wait at least 2 months and consult with your medical practitioner prior to floating.
- Do not shave or wax within 4 hours of floating.
- Epsom salts will not affect your hair colour, but if you have dyed your hair recently you will need to wait until the dye is no longer running in the shower before you can float.
- If you have a new tattoo or piercing, please wait at least 1 week for floating.
- If you have applied artificial tanner, please wait at least 72 hours.
